1. This is just more spin.

They are now (and actually have been for a while) working on the 'its just a technicality' angle. So part of that is pushing that there was no original crime. They've been pulling this angle for a while - almost since the beginning. 'She wasn't really covert'. 'She wasn't out of the country'. 'They didn't actually use her name.' (I like the last one best of all. Like saying 'Joe Wilson's wife' does not clearly identify the exact individual.

Once again - all the leaks are coming from the targets of the investigation. We will see what the charges are when the charges are made public. Then we can actually analyze facts rather than trying to quantify and qualify the ever changing spin barrage from the whore-media puppets of The Cabal.

wasn't true, but that also seems to have been a fairly common state of affairs.

But I don't think 'covert status' is the default hypothesis.
