Ok, so lets say the entire Bush cabal gets toppled
Will we be able to profit from it in a real political way? Or will our only reward be an extended moment of schaudenfreuden? What direction are we going to move in once they go down? Are our leaders ready to move? Will we be able to pull the pendulem back? It's not just going to swing back on it's own.

Or will things remain the same. Will the rights control of the message mean that just the players will change but the course will be unchanged? Will our leaders continue to be meak in the presense of strong leaders of the right?

If you think things will change what evidence do you see for it?

1. I see change coming, but not nearly enough.
The Dem's aren't all good either. We need to get the corprate dollar out of politics. I have no idea how to do it, but that MUST change before anything else really does. Otherwise it will all just be another dog and pony, we gotta be good for a little while waste of time, money, and lives.

3. Pessimist.
You asked for it!

I'll have to reserve judgement until we have a better idea of how much deadwood we're going to be able to chop out of government. So much water has gone over the dam so fast, that I doubt all the damage can be reversed. I hope some good people with real leadership skills step up to the plate and prove me wrong.
