Oh Good Grief! Tweety's back testing the wind. Conservative Wednesday! |
|
Sheesh..just when he suckered me back again (and I've posted vile things about him and had given up watching him for over a year) he does his Conservative Wednesday show.
I hope to hell he isn't wired in and knows something WE don't...but it seems both Tweety/Fineman and his guest lineup tonight are all doing the Repug ...Wilson's wife recommended him, Cheney was protecting Bush from evildoers, the interviewing of Wilson's neighbors could just be verification for a lower charge that she was "classified and Not Covert" and on and on and on.
Dick Thornberg (Bushbot) and a former White House Aide. Walter Pincus (WaPo) says I don't know "nuthin' about what Fitz is going to do" and David Boise (who ditched Al Gore in front of the supremes) says "whatever you say Chris about your timelines...I don't know nuthin' but whatever.
Sheesh....Matthews and Fineman also tried to defend THEIR ROLES in all of this by saying that it's all the New York Times fault for pushing the Iraq WMD story. That Cheney was always scheduled to appear on Sunday Pundit Shows but that NYT's would support WMD and Cheney and Condi and the rest would quote them...thereby fooling Russert and others.
Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyy! My head is splitting open with the spin. And, I did report the "spin" as I heard it. Tweety had a few lines supporting the Wilsons and Fitz but it's a definite turn from his other reports the last week or so.

3. Tweety really bagged BushCo earlier today, though |
|
Maybe he's trying to hedge his bets now.
He basically said that this entire mess is of their own doing -- it Chimperor had wanted to REALLY get to the bottom of it all, all he had to do was ASK his staff who had leaked. Instead, he took a "hands-off" approach and let Fitzgerald's investigation go forward, and now they're dealing with the fallout. They have NO ONE to blame but themselves for this one.

4. Oh GAWD! His second half got worse! Bob Shrum and Tucker....and |
|
Tweety is saying how much he "kinda likes the guy (Bush/Chimp) and saying how his problem was that he didn't follow Machiavelli's theory of "Change your Advisors every few years." :nuke: Shrum agress....Shrum (Dem Advisor) and Tucker says his biggest problem is Iraq and we should "declare victory and get out of there."
Tweety calls Shrum "my buddy" and Tucker looks like a Left Winger.....
I'm sorry ....it was making me sick the Suck up where Tucker looked better than Tweety and our Democrat Shrum....

of how to lose every presidential campaign you have ever been involved with will come up, then Bob Shrum can display his vast knowledge of the subject.

7. I wish there was a way for Dems to jettison Shrum |
|
He is worthless as a campaign strategist (I would think you would have to win once in awhile to be considered successful) and even more worthless as a pundit. He doesn't speak for me.

13. When Shrum says Chimpy lead the country "brilliantly" post 9-11 |
|
I want to puke.
Yeah, right. Any President would have done as well with symbolism...and probably wouldn't have used the whole thing so damned cynically and dishonestly.
Shrum SUCKS!

8. Mike Allen (Time Mag) says Fitz has indictments and thinks Bushies are |
|
plea bargaining...before the indictments come. He thinks Fitz's is giving chance for "plea bargains."
Now Matthews is talking to John Nichols of the Nation who says that Fitz's is going to EXPAND Investigation because he met with Hogan. He's saying that Cheney was involved but we might not find out until "down the road." Chris asked Nichols if he thought the White House would "go after him." What kind of warning is that that Matthews would say that to the guy since he is from the Nation.
I guess we all know now that Mike Allen is considered Conservative if Matthews had him on against Nichols.
There was alot of smirking and sneaky smiles going on between Matthews and Allen and even Nichols for my taste though. Like they all know "something" that we the viewers don't. :-(

15. Plea bargaining treason. F*ck em! |
|
If they're squealing, that's one thing. But I don't want to think about "plea bargaining" unless they're squealing.

Hey ... I've written some kinder things about Tweety in the past couple of days.
Sheesh, indeed. This show was just plain yucky.
Of course, this has turned out to a day that was a bit of a let down: no announcements from Fitzgerald and not much news and rumors to report.

14. Maybe he did and that's why he asked Nichols...if he was being |
|
investigated. It does seem that the way the MSM goes up and down in reporting seems to depend on "which side is winning that day...doesn't it." So much for the "free and unbiased press" that we all knew was gone long ago...we just didn't see it until the "tipping point" of BUSH II. I guess it's "Our Bad." :-(

... until "senior WH officials" outed her. Not so fast KOKO, Tweety might be whoring himself to us Demo's tonight. Does Conservative Wednesday shift to Thursday when Daylight savings time ends?
