What happens if the indictments go all the way up to Bush tomorrow? |
|
Or even if one of the other indictments lists Bush as an un-indicted co-conspirator? Does he resign? If he doesn't will the Republicans begin the impeachment process for Bush?

5. It'll be a national holiday! |
|
No, it will be a very sad day in our history. Our presidents are supposed to be better than that.

Don't expect him to resign under any circumstances and he won't be impeached unless we take back the House in 06. But hopefully he will be shown to have committed a crime.

19. You are sort of right. |
|
He would have to be impeached and removed from office first, then he could be arrested and charged (more likely in a murder with witnesses), or indicted and then arrested.
Recently, thanks to the Supreme Court, a sitting president can be sued.

6. Dream on ... it won't even go as far as Cheney |

although it should (especially after hearing about the withheld documents).
I'll be VERY happy if they get KKKarl (along with Scooter).

I'll be pleasantly surprised if Rove is indicted. I'm not expecting it to go any higher than that.

15. I don't think they'll get Bush - this time, but ... |
|
If Scooter and KarlRover-dog both go down, the psy-ops impact will be PRECIOUS!!!
Suggestion to MoveOn or other like-minded organizations: Bumper stickers/posters that display photos of Scooter and KKKarl that say: "We got the two men closest to you, Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney ... don't worry, YOU'RE BOTH NEXT!"

he's still going to be a lame duck and his administration will be finished if KKKRove AND Libby are indicted. If Cheney is indicted...kiss it all good bye and watch for a terrorist attack. I don't think the repukes would ever, ever, ever impeach the idiot.
I THINK A DEAL WAS MADE OVER THE MIERS NOMINATION AND THE INDICTMENTS/IMPEACHMENT. If KKKRove and Libby are indicted and the idiot is implicated, the repukes won't impeach IF she would withdraw her name as nominee. How's THAT for :tinfoilhat:? The timing of her withdrawal is suspicious to me.

22. If he's an unindicted co-conspirator, we should call for his resignation. |
|
I think we should anyway since he is politically crippled and is doing a diservice to the country by remaining in there. However, if he stays in he will hurt the Republicans more so it might be a good thing.
