Coordinated repuke spin this morning: "Nobody knows who Scooter Libby is" |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-28-05 10:41 AM by Lex
Several repukes on the teevee and radio this a.m. repeating that one talking point.
Saying the American people won't care because no one knows who Libby is anyway.
Buy hey I got news for them, people WILL KNOW who he is after today, dumbasses.

I know the repukes count on American stupidity to stay in office, but maybe they are over-expecting on this one.

14. Ann Coulter pulled this one on NBC yesterday AM. "Until 5 minutes ago... |
|
... I never even knew who Scooter Libby was!"
Which made me think: Why the HELL is she being paid by NBC to do political commentary?

15. I don't understand how this is an effective spin. |
|
That Coulter fellow was saying the same thing yesterday. How does the fact that Libby has had a relatively low-profile over the years make his indictment as Cheney's chief of staff better? There are a lot of high ranking officials in the government who are not household names; does that mean that they are above the law or cannot commit treason? I don't see the efficacy of this particular spin...

22. oh they would do it the other way around, if it was just rove they |
|
would all be saying that it's really the vp and his chief of staff running things. It doesn't matter to them they will spin no matter what. what I get pissed about is the so called "liberial media" will not call them on this shit.

people know who Libby is, because Rove is going to flip on Libby's boss and everyone knows who Cheney is!
The right-wing spin machine is terrified. Don't let their giddy front fool you. They know their party is imploding.

Repukes depend on the uninformed ignorance of the general public, the types that thought (and a lot still do) that Saddam was in league with Al Qaeda and Iraq had WMD’s and on and on.
They have to lie, they have to have an uninformed public and break the law to win.

28. Carl Bernstein on MSNBC/Rita Cosby last night: |
|
Fitzie's indictments aren't the end of the story. CIA leak, forged papers, BushCo defrauding Congress and American people, all are now on Congress' radar screen---this investigation won't be the end of it.
That bastard criminal Gordon Liddy was on with Carl---his spin was that Watergate break-in was really for purpose of spying on the Dem National Committee's call girl ring. ha, ha, LOL. Carl tore Liddy to shreds. Liddy should go back to prison. Why is MSNBC giving him a forum? He's a criminal traitor.
