Something tells me there is an impending ROVE INDICTMENT
Anyone else get that feeling in light of Reid's move?

1. Somehoe they decided they had something
that Rove is on the chopping block is a real possibility. And Dubya's basement level approval rating.

2. Like someone suggested it would be beneficial to get an investigation

going?

Maybe, but Fitz doesn't leak or tip people off. Still maybe Fitz's statement that his investigation was not to determine the legitimacy of the war was code to the Dems that determining that was up to the Hill?

9. I see this behavior all the time at work
limp-dicked employees who expect one or two other people to make things all better for the masses rather than the masses educating themselves as to the issues and taking the risk to lead themselves out of oblivion.

12. in Ftiz's case, that would have been outside of the scope of his case but
maybe he recognized that the policy really did deserve the investigation by the right powers.

4. No. Fitz doesn't leak. So Reid would know no better than anyone else.
Reid is just pointing out the underlying pattern of the GOP having all points of governance under their control - and how Americans have been sold a bill of goods because. No oversight. That is the message. And that is the sad truth.

5. Maybe - but I hope it has nothing to do with Reid's move.
I'm so excited that the White Hats are moving on two fronts.

Go, Harry!

7. yup, putting the pressure on
the WH...gotta love Harry right now. Talking about WHIG and national security and the failures that resulted.

8. I don't think it's related, actually
I think Reid decided to muscle up as a hint of what's going to happen if the nuclear option is triggered. There are worse things than bringing the Senate to a halt... such as a Congressional investigation of some extremely dirty laundry.

10. No. They are now aware that Roberts fixed the intel report and his
machinations since then, ie refusing Kerry's letter of inquiry reDSM and Phase 2 of the report, have all been part of his covering up for the WH and planting antiWilson talking points into the Phase 1 report.

11. This TOTALLY neutralizes the White House's attempt to bury
the indictment and the investigation by changing the media's focus onto the Supreme Court nominee, the flu, etc. It brings the war, the leak, everything FRONT and CENTER. Brilliant, brilliant move. Making full use of the Senate rules to keep this in the forefront where it belongs.
