secret session came at the demand of opposition Democrats, who said
the closed-door debate was necessary to allow for a full, open
discussion on alleged manipulation of prewar intelligence.(AFP/Tim

14. awesome...Reid laid some smackdown on Frist...
The level of outrage right now by the American people towards the conservative republicans in charge has now laid the basis for the minority to make demands.

Frist is no longer worthy of any kind of trust or bi-partisan cooperation.

Reid did the right thing. Screw Frist. He's gonna end up in jail.

These criminal losers no longer deserve any decoroum. I am sure Frist got an earful when they went into closed session.

Public opinion is on our side and it is time to drive these clowns into the dirt and out of power.

7. Remember them forcing Conyers' hearing into the basement?
His hearings on the Downing Street Minutes? And right-wingers made fun of them? Who is laughing now?

No one (DUers excluded, of course) knew who Cindy Sheehan was then, either, when she appeared in that basement. They do now.

8. Yes I do.... and how many floor votes did they schedule then?
I keep dreaming of impeachments... I heard that Patrick Fitzgerald had 22 folders of people he was investigating. I know we have only one deer in the headlights, but concievably we could get down via impeachment to Harry Reid as interm Prez.

If we can get the truth out there and all of America can finally see it, those who have been screwing with America are going to get sent to the Hague or put in prison or have to flee to some country that doesn't already have open prison cells waiting for them.

9. I remember...I was there...And I knew when I met Cindy Sheehan then & saw
her speak that this was a woman the Bush Administration should fear....Little did I realize that a month plus later, she'd be camping out in Crawford and causing quite the stir! Guess I was right about Bush fearing her...she's his worst nightmare!

That basement meeting room was awful...right next to cafeteria trays stacked and the water boiler rooms.

And the Repukes and Frist have the nerve to get pissed at Reid for following a "procedure"? That day during the DSM hearings, the GOP decided to hold a bunch of votes on the floor with barely any time in between them. I watched how all the Congress Reps who were trying to attend the DSM would have to scurry out of the room every few minutes to go run to the house floor and vote. The GOP that day did those rushed votes in order to interupt the DSM hearing....Well, I guess they are just going to have to take it themselves for a change.
