The American people need to be asked.
Are you willing to accept the deaths of 300 more soldiers in the next year? The latest Republican spin is to say. A lot of good things are happening in Iraq except for the "occasional death" of one of our soldiers. This war is'nt worth the death of one American soldier.

1. Great question.
I keep think of how many lives Bush has screwed up due to his war of choice. If you watched C span today, Senator Craig doesn't like people calling this "Bush's war". He kept saying it was America's war.

3. Great question. I am so sick of the RW trying to downplay these
brave troops. Using STUPID analogies like "more people are killed in car accidents every day." Say what? How moranic!

Or, "we lost over 50K in Vietnam, blah blah."

These people are f*cking sick and DON'T respect life.

I agree with you and I think our pres candidates should be talking about how long we will be in Iraq and predict how many troops will be killed. Wake up America! This is Bush's war..not mine.

4. Have any of the candidates said they will bring the troops home?
I mean, more or less, immediately? Seems like most of the quotes I've seen have questioned the decisions that got us here, but often adding something about how now we are there we have to see it through.

5. No, most of the candidates want the UN and NATO in and our guys/gals out.
We can't just leave. It wouldn't be fair to the Iraqi people just to cut and run, but my feeling is to get the UN and NATO in and give the Iraqis a bunch of money and let them rule their country. They are not children and shouldn't be disrespected by treating them that way. Course we KNOW why....it's the oil.
