Going to Clark Meet-up tonight 7 p.m. |
|
I'll be going to one in Naples Florida. Apparently, Clark will be at the one in Miami. Other Clark Meetup info: http://www.clark04.com/meetup/

1. Yes, he's going to be in Miami |
|
I'd go, myself - but I'm unfortunately kind of slammed with a couple projects here at the moment. Apparently, he's doing some sort of webcast from there, too, or something, though.
(unless I'm misinterpreting the emails I've been receiving)

I heard about the one here. What's Clark going to do there, deliver a speech or just shake people's hands? How many people are estimated to be there?

My guess is a slight combo of both, if its anything like his Deli Den appearance when he kicked off his campaign a couple of weeks ago.

5. Do you have to be an official Clark supporter |
|
or a member of the Democratic Party?

7. Not according to the emails |
|
It seems to be open to the public. its at the Rusty Pelican in Miami off Biscayne Bay. My guess is media will be there.
I highly doubt they're gonna check your party affiliation at the door :)

6. I'm going in Gainesville... |
|
I've been to Dean meetups, want to see what a Clark one is like, I'm kinda torn between the two of them, though Clark seems to be more focused on Florida right now then Dean is (we have a late primary)...

I can't go to mine, as I am buried in homework. A 7 page paper and 2 tests this week, and a 5 page paper and a test next week. Hopefully, I'll be able to make it next month!

12. Just came back from London Meet-up! |
|
We had a great group in a London pub in Goodge Street. Since it was the first meet-up, we spent a lot of time deciding what our focus would be, and assigning duties. Some attendees were committed to Clark; some wanted to know more about him. I would encourage everybody to go to their candidates' meet-ups, and get involved. Let's beat Bush!

15. Holy Toledo! 108 confirmed for Phoenix. |
|
I know the venue most people are going to, which is about 2 blocks away from where I work, and there is absolutely no way it can hold the 80 confirmed attendees. In fact, 80 people seems like too many to get any serious organizing done.
