2. The vote is 65% Santos 35% Vinick and they don't say how many
people voted. I was hoping they would. My guess is that a whole lot of people watched that show tonight!

12. I think that is telling. It does not matter how eloquent Vinnick was.
The people in this country have listened to this shit for two elections and look where it has got them. They have seen the old tax cut plan in action. It did not help my bottom line and I'm sure I am in a very large boat.

15. The West Wing audience is overwhelmingly liberal
(naturally, since it probably goes over most republicans' heads!)

Zogby has been tracking the campaign and he was on the Today Show promoting the debate last week. I don't remember the figures, but a huge number of viewers preferred Santos.

4. I've been trying for almost an hour to vote. For what it's worth.
It's terribly sad that TV viewers can take down a website the size of NBC over a fake presidential debate. Although, maybe it bodes well for 2006!

14. In all fairness to Vinick
Who do you think WATCHES West Wing. Not too many repukes I know are interested in watching a Sorkin show that O'Donnell writes for. I don't give a shit, I hope NO repuke watches it. I don't want the writers to be tempted even for a second to write a script that panders to that crowd.

17. I've never watched the show. . .
does it give a reasonably accurate depiction of present-day politics, or is it more fanciful and slanted to a particular ideal?

democratic administration I got). It was much more left leaning when Sorkin controlled the show. His left rants were (and are in re-runs) admired and leave me speechless at his choice of words (but then that's why I loved 'Sports Night'). Since Sorkin was booted the writing is more balanced.

Go Santos!

19. LOL...Since when has a Republican ever needed to
read or watch something to form an opinion on it and vote?

Someone reads about it hear, posts over on 'The Other Site' that the repugs are losing in a poll and it gets freeped....Do you honestly believe the fact that they haven't seen the debate would keep them from voting?

Personally, I'd like a poll taken on the poll results: "If you voted for Vinick's performance in the debate, do you realize this was a contest between two fictious characters, not real politicians?"

thats what kerry/ bush should have been before bush stole the election.

I loved the line about medicare how it only uses 2% for administrative cost vs. other health care plans that currently use 36%, I don't know if this is accurate or not but it is telling of how we need a national health care plan that everyone can afford.
