ID is an insult to christians |
|
Intelligent Design rests on the premise that God was too stupid to get it right the first time. He had to come back from time to time to fix things, like eyes and snowflakes.
So God was an armature? Needed practice? Never did it before?
So, Kansas changes the definition of science to allow it? And they don't want to be a laughing stock? What's next? Replacing gravity with the Intelligent Theory of Falling Down? (source...Onion).
When it comes to science, they must be about half as smart as two shoes.

3. ID is Jerry Foul-Well in a lab coat saying "Oooh! Eat your heart out... |
|
...Bill Nye, *I'M* a 'Science Guy' too!"
ID also relies on the premise that if ONE THING in the design fails, the whole thing fails.
That's be like an airliner crashing just because the TP dispenser jammed up.
And.....
Who designed the designer?

4. I'll sum up "intelligent design" |
|
Three simple steps.
1. "You can't explain ." -- This may or may not be true.
2. "Since you can't explain , it must be un-explainable." -- This is probably not true, and it doesn't follow logically that we will never be able to explain .
3. "Which proves that god did it." -- This is not only bad logic, it's bad theology, known as 'the god of the gaps.' Every time we explain something, there is less territory left for god.
