3. Um, because all the members of Congress who voted to do that
would be replaced ASAP by new congresspeople willing to support the giant sucking war machine forever?

4. You just asked
the right question. Why doesn't the enabler cut off the drug-addicted user? Why does the wife go to the liquor store and buy more booze for hubby who's just lost his job? They're about to loser their home, all the friends have vanished. But she pours him another drink.

Same thing with Congress. They can cut Bush off any time they want to. THEY are in fact the ones who keep funding this war. Bush just says "give me money" and they say, "OK, here".

No accountability, no details about how the money is spent. Let's put the focus where it should be.

5. What?!!? Do the right thing?!!? Perish the thought!!
Why..why..that would require ethics and courage!! Things that politicians are not known to place any value on. Except in speeches at fundraisers.

why don't they implement national health care too?

and raise the minimum wage?

and really protect the environment?

and eliminate the tax cuts for the super rich?

and crack down on corporate excesses such as CEO pay and outsourcing?
