Here is a quote that about sums up the problems of the Administration
in just two lines:

"Fear is the main source of superstition, and one of the main sources of cruelty. To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom."
Bertrand Russell

Another great quote about fear:

"Nothing is terrible except fear itself." Francis Bacon

Yep, when you are ruled by fear, you torture, kill, start bogus wars and generally become a menace to society and the world. Feel free to post quotes that describe the problems of this administration or apply to it in one way or another.

1. If the Bush administration was smart they should fear arrest.
I personally would have no problem with the likes of Bush and Cheney being dragged off to the Hague. Maybe they can catch up with Milosevic in their cells.

2. if justice were to prevail, this would be the case....
In the absence of true justice, Americans will be held accountable for the actions of these despiccable despots for a generation, at minimum. Amazing that so few "Murikans" appear to realize the costs they will be paying for their apathy...

5. Dismally true.....
... and the sad thing is that most of the guilty among us at least enjoy some illicit pleasure that comes back to haunt us --- in this case Americans are going to get fucked without ever getting kissed.

6. No doubt - sociopathic rulers use "brain stem issues" like fear or disgust
as certain types of sex" as "tongues" to get ahold of voters and control them.

8. One thing I noticed in this last election...
Homeland Security was not a big issue for those running. Just a year ago, every other word out of the mouth of the Repugs was terrorism. Every Dem was accused of being soft on terrorism and the Repugs won. Now, fear was not used as a tool so much and what happened - the Dems won a lot of what they were looking for.

9. Here are a few more good quotes about fear
"True nonviolence is an impossibility without the possession of unadulterated fearlessness." Gandhi

"We have nothing to fear but fear it's self" FDR
