Three more deaths in Middle East! Are we making progress? |
|
Regarding the three American deaths in Gaza being reported ...
Will the Bush administration's response be, "Things are actually going a lot better between the Israelis and Palestinians than the national media reports!"
Or does it matter if the media reports the deaths occurred in Gaza rather than Iraq?

1. Well, according to the esteemed and honorable |
|
senator from Washington, the repuke Nethercutt, our rebuilding of Iraq is going just peachy, only we don't know it because the media hasn't focused on that. And, according to him, "that is a better and more important story than a couple of soldiers a day getting killed." Yes, that is, indeed, a DIRECT quote!

explain why four House Dems were denied a trip to Iraq: (paraphrased) "People are firing on us all the time, lots of arrangements have to be made. It's not like taking a trip to the beach."
In other words, "We have to figure out how to show them the good things and it's hard".
Don't have link, heard it on NPR this morning at about 7 o'clock.
