The Dems are starting to get smart - do they have new advisors?
Edited on Thu Nov-17-05 04:52 PM by kerry-is-my-prez
It seems that they are starting to get smart and using some good tactics. It seems that they really are planning and using good strategies.

It's like they have a topic of the day. Each new they bring up a new issue and beat up on the Repubs. They seem to be organized and all have their talking points all ready.

Did they find their own Rove and Luntz?

I just wonder if someone has the inside scoop.

5. Yes, hopefully it means that they've canned Bob Shrum
Because Bob Shrum is radioactive, ALL his advice is wrong and whatever he suggests one should do the exact opposite of.

So, we've found our backbone and we've grown a set and this MUST mean that we've canned Shrum.

13. I'm sure they did...
Loser Bob now has a tell-all book coming out. Worse than a loser, a disloyal loser.

17. Are Faux hiring Shrum as an "analyst" already?
One thing I cannot tolerate is disloyalty, especially disloyalty to a political organization that's helped to pay for your house, helped to pay your bills, helped to pay for your kids' school.

It's been a long-time coming, but I'm glad Shrum has been tossed overboard.

19. Only a matter of time until they do.
http://observer.com/pageone_newsstory3.asp

"Asked if he had regrets, Mr. Shrum said that had the Kerry campaign known that, contrary to public polls, Florida would go heavily to Mr. Bush, the campaign could have sent more resources—including Mr. Kerry—to Ohio."

"'I don’t accept the notion that it was unwinnable, because we almost won,' he said."

Almost counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, Bob!

12. They are not being ruled by fear. They are being themselves and
saying what is really on their minds. As is their job.

14. Bush's polls had to go below 40 before the press...
would allow Dems, IMO, to be heard. That said, they are taking advantage of this opportunity pretty well, beginning with Reid's shutting down the Senate.

16. about DAMNED time....
After * was elected I felt like cassandra screaming at people "we're dooooomed"
"This guy is evil"
..... then after 911 EVERYONE (it seemed) was.... if not sweet on him then they were soft on him..... Still the cassandra in me screamed out: "don't trust him" "he will lead us down the garden path" "this WILL be an excuse to limit our rights and to do harm to people in other parts of the world"
STILL..... people lauded his leadership surrounding 911. It WAS NOT spectacular..... My pet goat was inarticulate and sloth like until the friday afterward.
Tony Blair (as much as I disagree with him) spoke the words that made me feel better that night..... when he spoke to us.
