The Incredibly Evil Professor Yoo
Also on NBC Nightly tonight was the esteemed UC-Berkeley Legal Professor John Yoo. Prof. Yoo is not your typical psychopath, but it is this MSM-accepted nutcase that has authored many of the un-American confinement policies that are now used in the administration's current reign of terror. Yoo is one of authors of the mis-named Patriot Act, one of the most heinous documents against American freedom ever written into law.

I still have an excellent WSJ profile of this monster in my office and will return tomorrow with more tidbits from it. In the meantime, check out the evil Yoo's opinions (which actually become policy) through a Google. (I'm not sure what links, if any, are allowed on this thing anymore)

Also noteworthy about Prof. Yoo is the ongoing case of Sami Amin Al-Arian, the former Professor of Engineering at the University of South FLorida. You may remember Al-Arian from the slime job Florida Senator Mel Martinez pulled on Betty Castor this past November. It seems it's OK for right-wing nutjobs like Yoo to remain in academia while we witchhunt any Arab-Americans in the same position.
