11. Byrd on Thanksgiving: "many of those tables will have an empty seat"

Byrd just said that very soon Americans will sit down for Thanksgiving dinner to thank God for all the blessings bestowed on America and at many of those tables there will be an empty seat... an empty seat (referring to the almost 20K U.S. troops killed or severely injured in Iraq).

Byrd has also been very effectively lambasting Cheney for Cheney's recent speech.
