"Right to Life Crusade" phone survey |
|
OK, this kind of crap pisses me off. I just got a phone call from some animated voice telling me it was taking a survey on the abortion issue. Normally I hang up on phone surveys but desperately wanted to answer this one.
So, choice one - if you support the right to life (misleading from the start) press 1. If you support the right to abortion, press 9. I pressed 9 (probably goes without saying).
And what do I hear after I press 9 - I support the right to abortion? I hear "Thank you for supporting the right to life yada yada yada". Now I'm f'n pissed so I try to dial the operator and again I hear "Thank you for your support yada yada yada".
I look them up on the web to send a scathing email giving them a piece of my mind (which is both inebriated and infuriated at this point) and I can't find them.
So I'm both asking for advice as to who to contact and trying to get the word out about this bogus frickin' poll. All advice welcome.
PS - mods - I'm cross posting this because I'm frickin' livid and want to get this in front of as many DUers as possible. Delete if you wish but I'd rather you not.

1. I don't blame you for being pissed. If your vote seriously registered |
|
for the opposite of what you wanted then that "poll" is as crooked as an election in Ohio.
Do you have caller ID? Did you get the number? Maybe we can do a search on that.

3. I don't have caller ID so all I have is the name of the organization |
|
I googled them and found a lot of references to them but no info regarding how to reach them. If they really did register my vote to the other side, I want that information known BEFORE they release the results of the survey. God help us if they publish these results.

http://www.nrlc.org/http://www.nifla.org/aboutnifla.aspBoth seem to be affiliated with this group you were "polled" by. You might try contacting them to see what they know. Though somehow I doubt they would be very forth-coming.
