It's GREAT how the *co rhetoric now justifies war for 'American interests' |
|
Blatantly. Now, we all know (being intelligent, curious, well-read folks), that every war has been about economics (and we didn't even go into WWII until it was good for our masters), but I have noticed lately, since Governor Rick Perry said at a Veteran's Day speech I was unfortunate enough to attend that our brave troops are to be thanked for protecting 'American freedoms and American interests.'
What the hell 'interest' do *I* have in IRAQ? None. Unless I am an SUV-driving creepo who wants my gas to stay falsely cheap (comparatively).
Why is it now just totally FINE with people to invade foreign countries to protect American business?!?!?!?!
