1. No, he's not.
Let's not stoop to their rhetoric.

He is a hero. And I applaud him. He's just on the wrong side of this war.

Give him some slack. Let it be.

16. He certianly is a war hero

His congressional district is just to the north of me. Don't agree with him on most anything politically but I do respect him.

How can you respect this guy? He *thinks the war is a good idea.* I think that puts him squarely in the worthless asshole category.

25. ok, maybe I just respect what he sacrificed in service to our country

I know one can ask exactly what service Vietnam gave us but I don't put the politics involved in a war in the foxhole or POW camp.

2. USAF careerist, spent 7 years as a POW
You'd think he'd have a better view of war. He thinks leaving those kids over there in that hell hole will "improve their morale." Dumb fucker...

24. All Republicans that blindly support Bush deserve nothing.
If he backs the debacle it's because he is more concerned with serving his Master King George II, and has little to no concern for the troops or their families.

He is not deserving of respect if, as with most Republicans, he seems to be more concerned with keeping power and not doing what's right.

Besides, the Republicans only let him speak based on the fact that he was a POW in Vietnam, and no other reason.

All Republicans that blindly support this administration without any question, are deserving of pity, scorn, even sympathy, but they are not deserving of respect. No matter who they are, or who they were.

And this applies to Democrats that support this administration as well!!!!!!

9. What a bum ...
... if the troops didn't have the best armor and ammunition it was because HIS radical Republicans did provide it ...

And he's a liar, too. "We're making great progress in Iraq."

90 Iraqis killed to day in bombings.

This guy is past his time.

20. He has no touch with reality.
Why do the GOP think war is fine in an innocent Arab country as long as it stays away from us? The civil war must occur in Iraq before they can stand on their own feet and fight any outsiders.
