preemptive attacks and bad intel
putting it all together, we have a new doctrine where it's ok to attack preemptively.

and, now we also have the precedent that it's ok to rely on bad intel. well, maybe 1 or 2 heads will roll, but nobody's apologizing for relying on bad intel.

now i'm not even talking about the scandal of who knew it was bogus intel, just that it wasn't accurate.

combining these, it's now possible to attack anyone we care to. all we have to do is provide some flaky suspicion that they're a "threat" and then it's ok to attack.

still doesn't sound like hitler? naahh.
