1. and just what do they win with that headline?
The pushback against war criticism, on behalf of bushco, is going to burn some of these schmoes - aren't they getting tired of being the ones to take the political heat for shrubco ? The old hammer playbook has just ceased working... and they still dont quite get it.

3. They pre-empted Jack Mertha's real resolution.
And made the news, worded in a way they want the world to see.

Never mind that it's all a sham stunt. The sheeple won't read that far or understand it if they do.

2. write to ABC news and call it for what it is
a distortion of the facts

The resolution voted on was NOT Murthas resolution but a republican resolution. Ask why they don't report WHAT really happened. The the republicans were afraid to vote on Murthas resolution

4. It's an AP article running on ABC
Who should we write and do we have email addresses?

I'm a former reporter - I love writing the press and telling them what shills they've become since I left the profession in 2001.

8. Since ABC ran the AP article with that headline, I wrote ABC:
That headline is a fraud.

You should know better.

Buried in the article is enough information to prove you know the headline is a fraudulent distortion of what happened in the House of Representatives yesterday.

The bastards who pulled this stunt in the House did so in order to get a false and misleading headline. And you stooped to giving them what they wanted.

Shame on you.

10. This is what I just wrote Associated Press
Your organization should be ashamed of itself for not reporting the FULL STORY.

LIZ SIDOTI from the associated press wrote the following article:

WASHINGTON Nov 19, 2005 — The Republican-controlled House spurned calls for an immediate pullout of troops from Iraq in a vote hastily arranged by the GOP that Democrats vociferously denounced as politically motivated…

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=1328498

IT FAILED TO PRESENT WHAT REALLY HAPPENED

The Murtha resolution WAS NOT VOTED ON. The Republcians, through Duncan Hunter changed the entire resolution, and tried to present it as the Murtha resolution was. You FAILED TO REPORT THAT.

IT IS CRUCIAL TO THE STORY.

No wonder the public relies more on other news sources.

Either Ms. Sidoti did NOT understand what was happening, or intentionally distorted the story. Either way it does NOT say much for Associated Press.

6. YAWN... What A Stupid Move
Damn... they are desperately trying to turn the political momentum. And we get to see once again, how low the GOP is willing to go. This will backfire!

15. The Repukes wasted everyone's time just for a weekend headline dump
You know the Repukes are running scared when they resort to the kind of crapola show they put on yesterday.
