My email to Congresswoman Schmidt

Dear Congresswoman Schmidt,

A few of your quotes from last evenings political stunt:

Ms. Schmidt: "A few minutes ago I received a call from Colonel Danny Bop, Ohio Representative from the 88th district in the House of Representatives. He asked me to send Congress a message: Stay the course. He also asked me to send Congressman Murtha a message, that cowards cut and run, Marines never do."

Ms. Schmidt: "Mr. Speaker, my remarks were not directed at any member of the House and I did not intend to suggest that they applied to any member. Most especially the distinguished gentleman from Pennsylvania. I therefore ask for unanimous consent that my words be withdrawn."

"...send Congressman Murtha a message..." and "...my remarks were not directed at any member of the House..." Has Webster's dictionary redefined truth?

I humbly submit that someone who has stood in front of enemies bullets for you and I, such as congressman Murtha and DOZENS of other democratic congressmen and senators, including the honorable John Kerry, have NO NEED to be sent such a message.

I also note that the second quote does not contain an apology for insulting this american War Hero. I hope you have done so. I'm sure you have the greatest respect for veterans such as Mr. Murtha, why, you probably actually even have a yellow magnet on your SUV!

But after reading your letter, it come to mind that the person who wanted the skank to give the message on the floor was (Danny Bop, Ohio Representative from the 88th district in the House of Representatives.) Maybe we should contact him as well. If he even said this. Were these truly her words or his? Maybe he is an asshat also. I tried to find his email. I done a search on the net and all I get back is sites that are talking about him. It seems to me that he would have a site. Does anyone know how to contact this man and find out why he would have the Skank say this?

If anyone has violated any sort of honor code, it's Col. Bubp, for implying that a fellow Marine officer is a coward.

It's no coinicidence that Jean Schmidt delivered her message through Bubp. He's a professional swift-boater.
