He was about to be busted for being a war criminal himself. Not ever prosecuted, true. In fact, kept the crime a secret for decades. Until one man in his unit was going to go public then Kerrey fessed up to what he did.

He fits right in with this bunch in the bush** administration. He could justify to himself why he killed unarmed and innocent old people and children. He has no problems justifying the same actions that the bush administration are doing. Because if they are wrong and criminal, well...
