1. Why would that make you puke?
If you don't question while we're there, we will NEVER be outa there.

11. I think because someone at CNN thought the question worthy of a
poll. They framed their polls about dissent in the same manner right after the invasion began, and it's still nauseating that even 18% of Americans believe that opposing the Iraq scam is "unpatriotic".

2. Is it the question itself that upsets you?
Cuz I don't see how the poll results could bother you. Except it should be even more lopsided.

7. Did you get lost on the double-negative?

It's saying most people think it's okay to disagree with the policy even though the troops are fighting there.

9. Amazing. That they'd even ask that question- that's the problem
or that anyone here even at DU- a progressive forum- would wonder why someone's outraged about it.

Comments like these really put the fire under my butt to find a way out of this country.... this ain't America anymore- it's something else- something without much future.

It is our duty as citizens to question every presidential policy.

17. It is how it is worded. The un should not be there.
I think we would be good Am. to always question the President so is that a no or yes? Reading what you said it looked like no one had trouble but me but I found it hard to figure out just what it meant.

24. I was watching Cavuto on Fox the other day and
the quotes at the bottom of the screen were hilARious. It was stuff like...

"Are the vicious attacks from Democrats hurting our troops?"
"Should our brave troops continue to bring freedom to Iraq?"

I wouldn't be surprised to one day see...
"George W. Bush: great President or greatest President ever?"
while Neil discusses the issue with a panel of fair and balanced representives from BOTH wings of the republican party.

26. Note the 17% here and the 19% that love Cheney
those are the outliers we will never have. Those are the brownshirts that every fascist movement relies on because they are so thorough in their unquestioning nationalism that they will kill anyone and do anything for the Reich.

Glad to see 83% of Americans remember what our heritage is actually supposed to be about.
