Mark Warner is on CPSAN1 at a New Hampshire democratic party event. Check it out! It'll repeat at 9:30. I'm starting to like him a bit more that I learn about him.

I really want those people who said he was dry with no personality to have another look at this guy. He couldn't have possibly have been more down to earth, lively, funny and personable.

and he did really well on that. You can google for it on the video search engine. I'm watching him interact now with people in the room and he's so nice and listen's to everyone. You can tell they're listening by the eye contact. I think he has a real potential and I do hope he runs for president (I would love a Warner/Fiengold team!) in 2008. I think he's probably doing so since a while back he made a visit to the Bilderberg group and tried to hide it. I think it was like March or something like that. So I wouldn't be surprised. I remember hearing after the Kaine win on Rhandi Rhodes that Virgina had the best economy in the country and was the number one state. Does anybody know about that? I think that would be good to run on if he does decide to. I liked what he just said about New Hampshire and Dean's strategy. He seemed supportive of both which I think should happen too. He seems very prepared on question's from Iraq to that and he seemed to support Dean which is a good sign to me. And from what I've read he's pro-choice and for LGBT rights.

4. And I liked what he said about Iraq |

He said we have to get allies and we should stay involved with the UN. We should keep our countries intrest's first but still work with other's if we're ever going to defeat terrorism. :D Lot's of "are you running?" question's of course. I think it's very good they're all focusing on 2006 now and we're all unified with that.

3. As I have said before... |

Kerry's 252 electoral votes plus Virgnia's 13 means that Warner would likely only need 5 EVs to win. If Warner could win either of the states that Kerry lost but Gore won (New Mexico or Iowa) he'd be President.
I am all about nominating a good candidate from a red state we can win, and Warner definitely qualifies.
Hillary definitely doesn't.

5. I don't think so with Hillary |

Too many people don't like her sad to say and she's too rightwing for me. I know Warner is DLC but he seems to have a good independent record and where it concerns the DLC and canidates I just look at them individually. For example Kerry is very progressive but involved in the DLC. So it just depends on each person I think.
