My screensaver is a marquee that reads "If you have to lie about your justification for war, and make things up and viciously smear anyone who disagrees in order to "sell" it, it's probably not good enough."

I can't remember who made that statement, but it's weighing heavily this morning.

What can he possibly say that hasn't already been said 2,095 times?

1. You could argue that Cheney is defending Cheney's decision

to go to war.

I'm pretty sure they've passed the point of being able to convince anyone who thinks otherwise that this was a good idea.
