What matters most of all
Oh god, I hope I can speak my heart. it doesn't matter if you vote dem or rep. the blood of our children is the cost. and for those people over there, they have little say in the matter over the spilled blood of there children. It is the voice of us here in the U.S.A. that controls the actions in our world today, tomorrow it may be not, but tomorrow is not, but today with our children is all we really have. I urge our senators and congress to take a stand for those who lives can be saved today, because tomorrow is an illusion, it never really comes, it's always today. Peace

5. Yes, which is why it's so sad that such a small percentage of the world's
population was gullible enough to vote in a way that's affected so much of the world for the worse...

6. that's a tough one to swallow
for me. Because I know that a lot of those people are good people who got spun. And, it's just a sad thing that it made everything so much worse, you know? It just hurts to see people get hurt when it didn't have to be that way. Bothers me a lot.

7. Right on. And if there is going to be a tomorrow worth living it is going
to depend upon what WE DO NOW. The Neo-cons are loosing their grip and that creates a dangerous situation for us all. We have to pay attention to what is going down. What is at stake is much bigger than the interests of the United States. Its the whole planet, the whole human race, the entirety of our future depends upon what those of us who are alive today do from here on out. We are facing serious challenges and we can not do so with eyes wide shut.

Letting them cynically install chimpanzees in the Oval Office is OVER THE TOP.

15. Thank you everyone
It is a sensitive post, my son goes of to the army next monday, mos combat medic. He seeks to be with those who live there lives in honor. while my education is limited I choose to teach my children by example, He's mom got really sick a number of years ago, and I have put her care above everything, and he has lived through it all, he knows the meaning of honor, and he follows all our children who choose to serve with honor in the military. I'm just a citizen that is speaking out to those in power to remind them. Peace

16. you're welcome, bonito
your post really touched me. I will think of your son and pray for him. I have three friends, that I know of, who are in Iraq and a close cousin who is in the military too. It's up to all of us to exercize our rights as citizens and make sure they are served with the same honor and dignity that they serve all of us. Peace to you, as well.
