I came to Grants/Milan in 1976. Up until the late 80's there was a used car dealer here that sold cars almost exclusively to Navajos. He moonlighted as a preacher of a wacky church of some sort. I had the privilege of seeing him in action selling one of his cars one day and I never forgot it. The wreck was pouring black fumes of smoke out the exhaust and ran very rough. I think a cylinder was missing. He yelled at the Navajo lady to get out from behind the wheel so he could show her "how to drive." He got in the car and stomped on the gas pedal a few times and got the motor racing and then they all laughed. He was such a shyster. He was a true con artist, taking advantage of poor people just to make a living. Greasy slime. Scanlon, Abramoff, and DeLay are the same kind of man. They just make more money.
