Norwich Bulletin---Our view: Time for Woodward to go |
|
Norwich Bulletin November 22, 2005 http://www.norwichbulletin.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20051122/OPINION/51122010/1014These days, Bob Woodward does precious little managing, editing or writing for the newspaper. He should end this charade before his carelessness causes further embarrassment to the Post, and resign.

2. Well, when you find out that Woodward |
|
was simply a plant, you don't want that kind of name recognition ~
Who will ever trust him again, after seeing him on the Larry King Show lying his head off about not having any information at all on the Valerie Plame affair, just weeks before he drops the bombshell that he too had been a recipient of the information other reporters had already admitted to getting.
And now we know why he tried so hard to dismiss the whole investigation. Covering for himself, his 'source' and always, Bush. He's not a reporter, he's a propagandist. He should go as should all of those who lied to the public ~ Judy's gone, he's next. There's always Fox ~ the receptacle for discarded indicted and/or convicted, but pardoned, criminals.
Lies like that are not good for a newspaper ~ we have to wonder now, how many more did he tell?

5. Woodward has gone over to the dark side alright. But i think he is |
|
doing it to get access and would sell his soul to keep it. He has another book. Pretty clear he pretty much had to keep his mouth shut. He's not lying. I'm sure stuff happened as it did. And I don't think it bodes well for the Repukes.
