That Freep Site Banned Me. They Can Not Deal With The Torture Issue...

You know the one. They spend half of their time bragging over there how they are about "real free speech" (unlike, they claim, DU) and the other half bragging about their troll runs over here.

For example:
"Interesting isn't it....you can freely post over here. Yet we can’t over there. Why do you hate the freedom of speech? You support a web-site that is anti-American and close minded. Can you even link back to this site at DU? You’re a slave to $kinner....so sad life in a filtered world like that."

They go on and on about how their mods and admins do not delete posts or ban people from the site. What hypocritical, lying vermin. They can't seem to handle the truth being posted over there for even a few minutes before they hit the button. There is freeper free speech for you.

I have tried several times to start a conversation on the torture issue over there. They just keep kicking me out. What spineless, disingenuous cowards. Not able to defend their stance on torture (but apparently not wanting the world to know), they will not touch the topic. It apparently scares them. They will not even allow discussion of the issue.

I guess being a supporter of torture, a clearly un-american practice, is best practiced by just trying to keep the issue from being discussed at all. Because, as soon as a discussion starts the apologist outs him or herself as immoral scum.

Go back to church freeps. Ask your clergy if Jesus would have supported torture.

Since you torture apologists can't support your position, maybe it is time you consider changing it. That is what us "grown-ups" do.

I encourage you all to go sign up at the freep sites and post away. Go pay the enemy a visit. Hell, they come here often enough!

And those principles have ALWAYS been aligned with the Democratic Party. Possibly it is the difference of where we were raised and where we currently live. Being from the South my whole life, I have been surrounded with ALL types of people and have learned a different art of communication.

I will agree with you on one thing (surprise! :) ). Any site that would criticize another site over the freedom of speech issue is living in a glass house. I have never seen a political site on the web that practices freedom of speech (which they have no obligation to, btw). Your OP proves that in this case. Maybe, the preaching from all sides on this issue should cease.
