A while back, the UN came out with a report blasting the US, saying parts of this nation were Third-World Poor.
I've looked into it, there definitely are parts of America that is comparable to the Third World.
Here are some of them.
1. The Bible Belt - Theocrats have control here. Many regressive policies exist, and let's not forget that the Crime Rate is very high here. Many 'christian' Terrorists have also spawned here, one being Eric Rudolph. Strong, but not the strongest, incidents of Racism. Contained 'sodomy' laws.
2. Los Angeles, California - Strong Gang Violence exists here.
3. Miami, Florida - Place where Omega 7, CORU, Luis Carriles Posada, and others plotted their terrorist activities.
4. ND-SD - A large patch of land between North Dakota and South Dakota. Crime is very high, poverty is very high.
And more.

1. Some ND Badland towns are very rich. |

I have a friend from Bowman, ND, pop. 1,600. And he says that there are quite a few millionaires in that town.
Same goes with Dickinson, ND, population 16,000.

there must be a lot of trophy ranches.
By the way, what does "millionaire" mean these days? Does a simple mil qualify? That won't get you squat no more. No Yacht, no house in the Hamptons, and no trophy wife/ranch.
