Make em all wear sponsorship patches, like those race car guys...that way we know who they're really working for!

Had a holiday with fundie in-laws and am very frustrated that they just believe whatever they are spoon fed by all the butt heads they listen to.

OK....I feel better now.

2. Great Idea!
So now, when you see a certain Representative, voting on a certain bill, with the subject of said bill exactly the same as the banner on his left breast (not the Shell Oil one or the General Electric one), you wonder, "hmmmmm....."

Would make life more, shall we say, cut-and-dried?

8. I feel so much better now!
Being back at home where I can know that there are normal people in the world who are not totally blinded by.....um, whatever it is that has blinded these people!

Plus, you should have seen the looks on the faces of the in-laws when I suggested the patches...."But, only the democrats are beholden to special interests, the Repubs just want to make our country better!"

My husband rolled his eyes when I told him that at Christmas, I'm taking "the folder", which has the facts and who said what when!

Bettie.

9. love the CONCEPT!!! would also like to add....
all legislation has sponsers - the senator or representative that initially writes it up and a list of co-sponsers. many bills are even referred to by the name of the senator(s) who present the bills for consideration

I think the bills should also include the names of all the lobbyists, lobby groups and special interests that are in favor of the 'whatever' bill and include a list of dates/times of meetings, gifts, meals, treats and the rest of the "wink-wink-nudge-nudge" information

10. But that would cement the NASCAR vote !
It always cracks me up when I see a grown man strutting around all proud in his "cool" NASCAR jacket plastered with corporate logos.

CorpoRatocracy's final victory!
