They're both professionals, and they get hired by whomever likes the message they're able to sell. Carville's company advises anti-Chavez Venezuelans, so it's not like he's ALWAYS on the liberal side. And I'm sure there are a few Dmeocrats who wouldn't mind the services of Matalin. And don't forget, people like Dick Morris had a long history of advising Dems and Repubs before they every became anti-Democrat whores for Fox.

Nonetheless, I can't believe that Carville and Matalin were seeing each other in 92 when they were both very prominent advisors to competing candidates. It's shocking. I guess, in one respect, their employers must trust their ability to keep confidences because they both manage to continue to find work.

11. Mary did a piss poor job of spining a couple weeks ago...

I saw her with James on some talking head show. She was whining on and on about the buried "weapons program" in the scientist's yard as proof of WMD. It was an extremely pathetic grasp and even Mary did not look convinced. Frankly, I am shocked she would take the position given the size boots and shovel she will need for this current fiasco.
