Should Saddam be tried in the World Court ? |
|
Just like Milosevich? Would that not be a more credible trial than the one that appears to be a setup by the Bush regime? Would it not make sense to move the trial to the Hague?

3. absolutely. Credibility has never been a concern of BushCo, though |
|
so no surprise that they don't start now.
Besides... having that trial in the world court could bring up the fact that the US pretty much 'made' Saddam, and I'm sure Rummy, et. al. don't want that.

7. Yes. Without a doubt. We are as corrupt as he is so we are hardly the |
|
ones to be trying him. And his replacements in Iraq, well what can I say. They kill of the opposing attorneys.

11. Absolutely. I think that the hold up is that the "new" Iraq |
|
hasn't signed onto the ICC conventions treaty, and if the US has anything to say about it, it won't be doing so ever.

If Iraq had a legitimate government they would be entitled to try him for crimes against Iraq.

15. perhaps the World Court judges, could travel to Baghdad, |
|
and put Saddam on trial.
I'm sure something could be worked out. I don't exactly know what difference another sentence of life, would make to person that has been hanged. Seems pointless.
