"If the Generals tell Bush they need help, they'll get it" |
|
This is the new line--again. Yes we heard it in the past but then he stopped saying it and now it's back. What general is going to say they need more help when they already know that they will be dispatched with for daring to ask?

"Command 101" to always be asking for more troops. All commanders, through all the ages, from squad leader on up always want more troops - it's the nature of the business - enough is never enough. And even if you are denied more troops (a legitimate denial - there are always shortages), if or when things go wrong, you can always say, "But sir I asked for more troops and you didn't given them to me".

6. Is that it? Other ranking officers need not communicate? |
|
Seems like more of the "I surrounded myself with people I trust, I get my news from them"
Maybe they taught that in Harvard business school. I sure have worked for a bunch of organizations where administration never got down and talked folks at the operations level. They were much more content being told what they wanted to hear from toadies.

It was exactly like this in the last days of Hitler, Stalin, Howard Hughes, Elvis, Jim Jones, Vlad Teppes, Caligula and every ruler of a microcosm that cracked-up, crashed and burned and took their people with them.
They get weird then, they get isolated then, they do some overly dramatic, very unnecessary act(s) that hurt alot of folks before they go.
That's all we're witnessing now, I believe - Bushco's death-throes and he's not going quietly into that good night.
