So what now? re: Iraq
I hate that it has come to this: as much as I want the troops to withdraw I feel like we have failed not succeeded. Bush will be able to define the withdrawal on his own terms; he'll have detached the albatross from around his neck, America will forget all that's happened in the past four years.
Iraq will fade a little slower from the minds of Americans than the stolen elections, but eventually Bush will retire in comfort to his ranch and Bill Frist or Jeb Bush will steal the next election.
