It sure is a strange coincidence that both Kerry and Bush* get jury duty
at the same time. No tin foil or conspiricy theory but just a strange coincidence. Kerry shows up and gets named foreman and earns respect of all including Republicans while Bush* shirks yet another civic responsibility..

3. Bush if Bush's bike riding is to be compared to Kerry's bike riding
then surely Bush's jury duty would've ended up with Bush in jail for contempt of court.

4. Except that it was the other way around.
Kerry was a cyclist long before Bush began cycling (supposedly because he couldn't do the treadmill anymore owing to a knee problem).

5. To be fair, Bush can't serve on a Texas jury because he
would have to fill out a form which demands to know whether the potential juror has been convicted of driving under the influence and whether he has been convicted of a felony.

The last time around, he left both questions unanswered, only to be pulled from the list of jurors because of his status as Governor of Texas. Later it was learned that he had been convicted of driving under the influence. Any bets on his having a felony conviction?

8. Not coincidence, but contrivance. By Rove.
They saw how it played for Kerry, and Rove set this up.

Guaranteed.

Nothing like this happens accidently.

9. I think they both got called legitimately...

Kerry, because it was just his time...

Bush, because since they use election rolls, was picked because he recorded his vote 48,000 times, or roughly 63% of his county's total. The amazing thing was that his name didn't come up 8 times for the same jury.
