Why start a "good news" PR offensive and then leave the country? |
|
Obviously the trip was planned well in advance, but maybe someone who knows something about public relations can explain this to me. I don't understand why the administration begins what they call a public relations offensive to counter the "bad news" coming from the media on Iraq and then leaves the country for 6 days? Is there an explanation or is the explanation that they'll start up where they left off?

2. Friday Is His "Bad News" Day |
|
And given the habit of the press to send the White House bad news in advance, it gives him ample opportunity to run and hide like the weasel he is.

It looks like he is very busy? It looks like he really does talk to the leaders of other countries and knows what he he is doing? It looks like someone shoved him and her out of the country for a while? It looks like he is a poster boy for the real powers in the government and she is the vacant prop. No one protests him in Japan? He has nothing to do with what is being done by this government. It is all being left to those who have convinced him they are the smart ones and he does not have to do anything but glance over headlines in the newspapers. The persons running the "good news in Iraq" bulletins are afraid he will say something to screw up their propaganda, so he and the first frump were sent to Japan, where they are definately better looking than Kozumi and his wife. Photos will look good then.

4. plus they're bypassing the mainstream news outlets |
|
they must be so desperate they're trying everything they haven't tried already just to see if it will work.
Sorry, won't turn off the drip drip drip of fact fact fact destroying lies lies lies!
If they weren't totalitarian dictators with the keys to the voting machines in their pockets, they would be dead meat!
I guess they feel they have to work a little to keep their polls up just to give the idea that they could win an election a little substance.
I'm not buying it.

5. Going to Asia to bypass mainstream media seems extreme. |

And I have 50 bucks that says he'll stop off in Crawford on the way back in order to recuperate.

The day that the dildo held a press conference with local media outlets to try and by pass the big media "negative filter", three soldiers were killed. Kind of hard to put lip stick on that pig.
I'm sure that they decided that it was best for him to slip out of the lime light. fucking jerk wad.
