Did anybody see the report on the execution in Singapore?
Jesus it was such a sad story, i guess the guy was a drug mule. They hung him, they showed his mother coming out of the jail with his lawyers and then they showed his brother.

3. That's the way it is over there.
It's not that he didn't know the consequences. When entering Singapore and Malaysia, there are warning signs everywhere with noose icons. I've been there. Maybe he thought he could turn an easy buck. Granted, it is sad for his family.

5. As I heard it, he was threatened into cooperating with the drug
smugglers.

That is just hearsay, however.

7. He didn't know he was going to Singapore
He was doing this to pay off debts of the twin brother, who was a junkie and gambler. The gang in Thailand told him that if he backed out, they'd kill him and his family. Then they gave him a ticket to Australia through Singapore. He was a straight arrow trying to save his brother. It was stupid, but it's also very sad.
