WASHINGTON - Ten Marines on foot patrol were killed and 11 wounded by a roadside bomb near Fallujah, Iraq, in one of the deadliest attack on American troops in recent months, the Marine Corps announced on Friday. A brief statement said the Marines were from Regimental Combat Team 8, of the 2nd Marine Division.

4. This is my son's group

(he is safely back in the states after two tours). He was part of Combat Team 8, of the 2nd for two tours. The day he flew back, four Marines who replaced his team were killed.
He's not scheduled to go back until next year.
People who talk about how we're making progress over there are clueless.
Clueless.
They need to go over for a tour of 8 months.
