What's up with C-Span?
C-Span has had mostly Pro-Bush & Pro-Blair guests on since the shit hit the fan about Bush being a liar.
The callers are mostly Pro-Bush callers. Has anyone else noticed this?

2. As for the callers,
I suspect that the nation's Bush cultists feel a particularly strong need to prop up their sleazy little god right about now.

3. Brian Lamb
He might be telling his staff to take more Rethug callers. Do you remember when he cleared the lines one day because he didn't have enough Rethugs calling in?

4. he gets REALLY mad when anyone dares question CSPAN balance
I asked him onair once why they insist on using the WashTimes as one of their MAIN sources for discussion stories.

he said it's cause they're local. I asked why they used a paper owned by an insane criminal, who thinks he's Jesus Christ? he couldn't answer that one.

5. This is really sad for me to hear because I already cancelled
my news cable and I always thought c-span was a station we could count on to be fair.

Too bad they don't want to hear the real side of the story.

And I think the lying murdering thief is goin' down in 2004 so c-span's brian lamb will be upset...boo hoo!

6. Yeah, I noticed.......
they are avoiding the current situation big time! I mentioned this on Monday. Not one word on Monday!! Normally, the question of the day would have been about what was the number one story on Sunday talk. Not this last Monday. They didn't even read an article from any newspapers about it.

I'm very disappointed in C-span. I gave them more credit than they deserve apparently.

7. No. I Don't Notice That
As a matter of fact, i've noticed the opposite. There are more seconds devoted to the "Oppose Bush" line in the last 15 days. (I keep track a couple of days a week. I know, that's weird, but i'm a data guy.)

There has been a much greater volume of people being allowed to expound on their reasons for disagreement, and grievances against Bush in the last month than at any time i can document since 2001 began.

8. But that is the callers.
How about the guest pundits? My TV with C-Span reception is in the shop, so I haven't followed it lately. But, before all this hit the fan, there was a definite slant to bring on Democratic speakers who were more of the wishy-washy type, rather than the clear speakers.

12. I'd Buy That Rev
However, like another reply to your post, i like the call-in parts of CSPAN the best anyway. I'm a big "democracy of, by and for the People" kind of guy, and those opinions are what matter to me.

But, your take on the guest slant is probably sound. I haven't paid as much attention to that as you apparently have.

But, i can assure DU'ers that the tone is decidedly more antiBush than it was just a few months ago, from the callers. And, the moderators are allowing them quite a lot of freedom.

11. Ditto!
I love those callers on C-Span. Some of them are a bunch of idiots (mostly republican line) but regardless, I still would like to hear their opinions.
