No need to watch the Sunday news shows.
I have watched enough news for the past few days to know that the theme/talking points for the Repugs this weekend will be that the Dems are in disarray. We have three positions - the Pelosi/Murtha position, the Bill and Hillary Clinton position, and the Lieberman position.

Every question to a Repug for the the weeks to come about the war, the buying of news coverage by the Pentagon, the billions of dollars unaccounted for, Phase II of the Senate investigation, Abramhoff, Cunningham, etc., will be answered the same.

"The Democrats are responsible because they can't agree on what to do about the war."

The moderators will make no attempt to keep on topic - the Dems on the panels will get confused and not stay on topic (while smiling like fools) and once again the American public will get screwed.

Thanks in advance to the media for dumbing it down once again.

3. McCain will be on Meat the Press.
Along with 2 members of the 9/11 commission. I might stay in bed.

5. I think you hit that nail right on its head.
McCain will be on Meet the Press, as well as the two 9/11 Commission Commissioners.

6. I'm not so sure about that
The Dems have soooo much ammunition to throw back at the Repugs these days they'd have to be comatose to miss the opportunity of slamming them. It's just too obvious that they don't have to do too much convincing for the public to "get it".

9. They may surprise you.
It's been a long time coming to this point. Now that they're fully armed and less vulnerable they can go for the throat with impunity. They'd be foolish not to.

12. If they really wanted things to change, sure
But you can look at the Beltway Dems like a 9/11 conspiracy buff and have a fifty percent chance of getting it right.

They could have "made it happen" or "let it happen" but either way they are intertwined with the GOPukes actions over the last few years.

The wise man expects no change.

15. The wise man expects no change.
Then I guess we Activists should just give up and go home.

CHANGE is the nature of the universe and the pendulum must ultimately swing in the opposite direction. Defeatism serves no purpose except to serve apathy and laziness. Sorry, but I won't buy into that mindset. Neither has Boxer, Pelosi, Reid, Conyers, Murtha, Kennedy, Biden, et al who have been very vocal against the Pugs. The momentum is just getting started. Give it time to snowball. Then get ready to eat your words.

And as far as I'm aware, there aren't any Dems who are card-carring members of PNAC so they're NOT intertwined with the worst of the GOPukes. Unless you know something I don't.

8. If it was the Dems they would have info...
about the scandals non-stop. The repugs differences would be a non-issue

14. One other talking point they are sure to mention

Smirky-boy has rebounded and is on the offensive.

I've heard Wolfie and a few others say that this week. What the hell else can he do? His numbers are in the toilet and he has nowhwere else to go but up. Anything he does at all would be construed as going on the offensive because his ass is backed up into a corner.

They ought to address his using military personnel and installations as cheap props for his (i.e. Rove's) lame-ass PR campaigns.
