own stocks!
I've listened to several financial people on CNN, MSNBC etc. There ARE a few who will tell you that people only recognize how good or bad the US economy is based upon their own circumstnaces. If they are worried about their own job, or some people in their family, they'll believe it's not very good.
The other thing is, I think his handlers figured Shrub better take advantage of this tidbit of good news NOW, because in January, lots of those 215,000 jobs were generated to supply retail for Christmas. They're gonna go away! Then there's the thousands of jobs going away at GM, Ford is cutting back or closing 6 plants in the US, Delta is supposed to make an announcement in mid January, and the rumopr is "nobody's going to like it".
Shrub is going to have to hide under his bed about the economy for a long time!
