Just saw a commercial encouraging ppl to shop locally & save a job.
Some economy; huh?
Of course, some part of the blame for this particular city having problems is because the leaders of it didn't work hard enough to try and keep the furniture market here--they really don't like progress sometimes.(Actually; all 3 cities here have this problem a bit).
But most of it is the move from tobacco and textiles to...well; nothing; offshoring jobs like crazy.
