When Bush* is done being pResident what will he do next?
Edited on Mon Dec-05-05 11:15 AM by Toots
Who would hire him and for what position? His job history is not very stellar and in fact Bush* has been a failure every time he tried to run a business. Oh hell he has so much money he won't need to do anything. A spot in the Carlyle Group I guess where he can't screw anything up.

None dare call it bribery if they only pay off the bribe once you
*LEAVE* office.

8. I think you mean "Presiduncial" (as in "dunce") library.
And they can certainly use it to store all those thousands of
speech backdrops ("War is Peace", "Freedom is Slavery", "The
Courage to Kill Unarmed Towelheads", etc.) that we've paid-for
all these long painful years. It ought to make an impressive
display!

I personally want to see him live a long long time. At some point he will have to realize just what he has done and from that time on will be his due. May he live a long life miserable life, very little sleep, anxiety, all the things he is so guilty of bestowing upon the other inhabitants in this land and the world. suffer w* suffer.

9. He'll be martyred before that comes to pass, imho.
He's far, far more useful to the fascists as a martyr than an embarassment. His Narcissistic Personality Disorder is barely being contained ... a short way from being a meltdown. Without the resources of the Executive Branch - and the dittohead rallies - he's going to lose a huge amount of his naricissistic supply.

32. He was on Carlyle's board before and was asked to leave
(snip)

But when we were putting the board together, somebody came to me and said, look there is a guy who would like to be on the board. He's kind of down on his luck a bit. Needs a job. Needs a board position. Needs some board positions. Could you put him on the board? Pay him a salary and he'll be a good board member and be a loyal vote for the management and so forth.

I said well we're not usually in that business. But okay, let me meet the guy. I met the guy. I said I don't think he adds that much value. We'll put him on the board because - you know - we'll do a favor for this guy; he's done a favor for us.

We put him on the board and spent three years. Came to all the meetings. Told a lot of jokes. Not that many clean ones. And after a while I kind of said to him, after about three years - you know, I'm not sure this is really for you. Maybe you should do something else. Because I don't think you're adding that much value to the board. You don't know that much about the company.

He said, well I think I'm getting out of this business anyway. And I don't really like it that much. So I'm probably going to resign from the board.

And I said, thanks - didn't think I'd ever see him again. His name is George W. Bush. He became President of the United States. So you know if you said to me, name 25 million people who would maybe be President of the United States, he wouldn't have been in that category. So you never know. Anyway, I haven't been invited to the White House for any things.

I expect he'll be ignored. Not panned, but ignored.

For all the gushing praise they offer of Bush now, I think they know as well as anyone that the man is an imbecile. No one asks an imbecile for his opinion on the issues of the day.

41. The Job He should have had - Commissioner of Baseball
One author said that George W. would have made a really great Commissioner of Major League Baseball. They said that was the job he was well-qualified for and the job he would have enjoyed.

Some people say that George W. really wasn't that thrilled at running for President at first - that it was Karl Rove who pushed him into it.
