why isn't more of a big deal being made of w's failure to capture Osama?
with all his bloviating and boasting and bilge about how wonderfully the war is going, he rarely mentions the man who supposedly attacked america and killed 3000.

4 years later and the most hated man in history is STILL OUT THERE and apparently thriving.

why aren't democrats, or anybody for that matter screaming bloody murder about this most glaring failure? maybe if it had been clinton at the helm the repubs would've made quite the stink about it. y' think maybe?

sometimes i think the whole nation is on some hypnotic drug.

I wonder this on a daily basis. I mean; really. What CAN a freeptard say to counter THAT question effectively? DEAD OR ALIVE as I recall; and you know; how hard is it to stake out a DIALYSIS machine?

WHat drug is that? Can I have some? Sheesh....

3. I truly am not that concerned about him - bush
By contrast, Bush downplayed concern on the whereabouts of Osama bin Laden, saying the accused terrorist mastermind is on the run and "I truly am not that concerned about him."
http://archives.cnn.com/2002/ALLPOLITICS/03/13/Bush.news.conference/

and what are the papers going to report other than a "x-days since 9-11 and bin-laden not captured"

it's going to take a national debate with the PEOPLE demanding answers - sadly, the people just drink the kook-aid and the MSM continue to kiss butt

7. The answer is really quite simple...
How can ANYONE possibly worry about Osama when there are still gays who want to get married?!?!?!?!

I've wondered the same thing about bin Laden many times. Perhaps some people believe that Saddam was "close enough"...

10. Yeah, and they hung out together
Got drunk. Chased women. Planned attacks. Built an arsenal.

Why, they're really the same person!

9. if 9/11 happened with a democrat in office, they'd be counting the days
ted koppel would be running an 'osama at large, day #1754' show, just like they did to carter during the hostage crisis.

12. What are you complaining about?
Huh?

We took the fight to the terraists, so we don't have to fight them here!
Would you rather that Saddam were still in power?
His weapons of mass distruction are no longer available to the terraists, and now we don't have to worry about drone planes dropping anthrax on New York City!!!

Why do you hate America so much?!?!?

13. I Agree
I mean, what the *hell* is wrong with everyone? Osama is still not caught, & no one cares? And yet, we get Saddam & everyone thinks it's great? Who *really* attacked us on 9/11? Get a clue, America!

14. I do not understand that myself
My guess is that since there are military operations ongoing in the region that it would appear as an attack on the Army. And you do not want to pull the "incompetance" card given the sittion in Iraq. Largely because the GOP will spin it as criticism of men and women in Harm's way.

But now that winter has set in no one is goint to be looking for them until May any way.

I mean there was alot of conspiracy folks saying that They actualy had caug Osama and were going to pull an October Suprise right before the election to give * a Bush. (chalk on up for reality) Given the level of esteem the country holds Bush is these days, there would be no earthly reason not to trot him out. So my guess is that we do not have hime and we never did.

It also occurs tome that Bush may need him out there as a means of justifying the Iraqi Front. Even though Zarquawi is far more lethal

17. I believe it was during the first Kerry/Bush debate, when Bush said...
"And you forgot Poland!" referring to Kerry's memory lapse with Coalition of the Billing members.

Had Kerry responded, "Motherfucker, you forgot Osama," he would've won the election with more than 300 electoral votes.

Hey, I would've said it.
