just came back from Iraq and saw evidence of torture from prisoners at a slew of prisons? and then the military told him to stop giving interviews?
did someone catch his name?

allies in Iraq?? Wouldn't it be a hoot if our new "allies" have more than Saddam had, have tortured more, and have perhaps killed more... with our help of course.

5. Army Major Who is a Doctor |

He was an Army Major who is a doctor. I believe his last name was something like Stucky. He had said that he had seen evidence of torture and mistreatment of prisoners from many different prisons. The story was mainly in reference to torture of Iraqis by Iraqis. The end of the story said that he had been ordered to stop giving interviews to the press, and therefore could not be interviewed by NPR.
The audio should be available on www.npr.org. It was at the tail end of the story on US response to torture that may be witnessed by US military by Iraqis.
