Sick Bumpersticker "Some People Just Need Killing.....
I just saw this on a car parked across the street. The person is attending a funeral at my church a few doors down. The SUV Is COVERED with USMC stickers, ribbons and flags with a front USMC license plate. A sticker on the back bumper reads...

"SOME PEOPLE JUST NEED KILLING,

THAT IS WHY WE HAVE THE US MARINES"

:puke:

1. In principle, isn't that true?
I don't know of any other function of the Marine Corps.

5. Serve and protect?
Do they really have to kill everytime? I know some fine former Marines who think they don't have to.

8. Is that their motto too? I thought it was LAPD's
My understanding is that all marines top to bottom are combat-ready, which means ready to kill people.

15. They are not killers they serve and protect us

You can check their websites here for Marine values:
http://www.usmcpress.com/heritage/corp_values.htm

But if we just needed people killed a great big bomb would be more effective. Calling the Marines killers is too simple and an insult.

18. If the US Government had no need to kill people in large numbers,
there would be no Marine Corps, end of story.

2. makes me think of a bumper sticker I saw here in CT awhile back
though not as brutal as the one you mention. It had a religious cross on it and it said "TRUTH NOT TOLERANCE"

nancy fit if anyone else suggested that our soldiers were murdering people. They want to live inside this huge testoserone-soaked macho fantasy world but then want everybody else to look upon them as angels in khaki.

My wife was driving through Atlanta on Tuesday and saw a billboard addressed to Cong. Murtha which actually repeated Jean Schitt's line about Marines not cutting and/or running. Now, the war fetishists always freak me out -- I mean, if W himself admitted that the whole thing was a disaster built on lies I bet these ghouls would still insist that it's the most noble venture our nation has ever undertaken blah blah blah. But it's repulsive to think that some bunch of crackers could feel entitled to lecture John Murtha on what Marines do an do not do. The blind arrogance of these cretins is astounding.

12. If You Had Pen and Paper,
you could have written "the Martyr's Brigade" and taped it over "the US Marines." See how long before they noticed. The similarities between RWers and terrorists never cease to amaze me.
