On the ground Katrina assistance opportunities...

Many of the numbers I have been attempting to contact for volunteer assistance have since been disconnected or otherwise. I am currently seasonally unemployed, and feel COMPELLED to step up beyond my financial contributions, in order to help the families affected by the disaster in the Gulf Coast. If anyone has current contact information to Food Not Bombs (or otherwise) organizations currently working in the Gulf Coast area, it would be greatly appriciated.
